Kim Erwin is an Assistant Professor at ID, with a focus on communication planning and design. Her current research focuses on methods for communicating with stakeholders, with a special emphasis on experiential communication techniques and making complicated information easier to understand and use. Her recent book on the topic, Communicating the New: Methods to shape and accelerate innovation for Wiley & Sons was published Summer 2013.
She's excited to participate in BarnRaise this year, in part for its novel approach to getting passionate, smart people to pitch in on important problems. And because designing healthy communities is critical to the growth and success of Chicago, a city she loves.
