Founder, Greater Good Studio
Dissatisfied at the state of the world's social issues but hopelessly optimistic that we have all the assets we need to solve them, George founded the Greater Good Studio to help connect all the dots. George leads the design discipline, overseeing interaction, graphic, program and service design. Previously, he spent 7 years at global innovation firm IDEO before being hired as the first human-centered designer at the Chicago Transit Authority. George is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he teaches product design and social innovation. He is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator. George has a bachelors in Engineering from Bournemouth University, UK.
He is looking forward to being a part of BarnRaise so the journey to normalizing design's role in the social sector gets there sooner.
