For it’s first year, BarnRaise is aiming high to connect the city in new ways. We couldn’t do this without our amazing partners. Our community partners will host problems for teams to ideate around and create prototypes for. We have space for just a few more, and if your company or organization might be interested in participating, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org! Remember, we’re looking to solve problems that address urban safety in an open source world, with a focus on health, home, virtual privacy, transportation, and public spaces.
We’re also excited to announce a new community partner and speaker you can look forward to hearing from at the event!
Gensler is a global design firm that partners with clients to make cities more livable, work smarter and leisure more engaging. Our 4,500 professionals networked across 46 locations believe quality design can transform organizations and improve people’s lives. Since 1965, we have helped clients achieve measurable business and organizational goals, delivering projects as large as a city and as small as a task light for an individual desk.
Komal Kirtikar, Director of Customer Care and Director of Trust + Safety at Lyft has also agreed to speak at BarnRaise! We're so excited to have her share her experience with managing safety, and believe her perspective will help attendees build a deeper understanding of our problem space: Urban safety in an open source world. As soon as we have her official bio and photo, you can find more information on Komal on our speakers page (Sorry Komal, we borrowed this one from your LinkedIn page for now!) Want to hear from Komal? Be sure to register to attend sooner than later, as space is limited.
So what are you waiting for?! Register today to attend BarnRaise before time runs out!
